Refreshing

Our personal style often reflects our mood or personality, the season, or even a certain phase of life.

When the winter hits my neck-of-the-woods, I often focus my style around berries and reds, durable textures, and very likely decor. But this year, winter brought with it a refreshed state-of-mind and a new outlook on life.

I'm starting to wonder if this is a midlife crisis at the ripe 'ole age of 23... or a jolt of reality post-college graduation. Either way, it makes the frigid temps, frosted windows, and dry, flaky skin that much more manageable.

This season, my eye has been on whites and silvers and unlikely, bold statement pieces. Even though my renewed self is a little out of whack, I continue to focus on feminine and classic icons.

White centerfold ~ cowhide rug, iconic accent table, feminine details

Daring accents ~ white furniture, turquoise area rug

Sleek centerpieces ~ metallic side table

When the weather turns warmer, I may feel a little more at home. My bright, sunny interior is awaiting.

Love to all,
